Integration Technician (Tanks)

Description
As a Tanks Integration Technician at Impulse, you will be doing final assembly, integration & test of flight hardware for our Helios vehicle. Helios is Impulse's kick-stage designed for deeper space missions. This hardware will consist of anything from harnesses, and cables, to mechanical and composite assemblies.
Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and test flight-ready hardware
Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers
Hands on operations with sub-assemblies
Read and interpret technical drawings, and follow detailed work instructions
Perform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions; sometimes in an ambiguous environment
Use various mechanical tools without instruction
Collaborate with manufacturing & design engineers to develop and document activities/procedures
Ensure all production services are performed on time, safely and in a professional manner
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
5+ years of experience in hardware assembly, test, and/or installation of flight hardware
Skill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity
A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, manuals and reports
Demonstrated experience working in ESD sensitive integration facilities
Experience mating/de-mating/handling of flight and non-flight cables and harness
Demonstrated experience using calibrated tooling (torque wrenches, precision measuring instruments, etc.)
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
Proficient with computers and the ability to use MS Office and Manufacturing Execution Software (Ion, Manufacturo, or other)
Preferred Skills and Experience
8+ years' of demonstrated experience performing final assembly on rockets, spacecraft or satellites, or complicated spacecraft or rocket sub-assemblies
Experience with environmental testing (System Pressure, Thermal Vacuum, Thermal Cycle, Vibe, Shock, Acoustics), including operating associated test equiptment
Experience with CAD Software (NX, SolidWorks, Catia, etc)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with pressure, temperature and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines
FAA Airframe and PowerPlant license
Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
Knowledge of pressure, temperature and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces
Limited travel may be required (approximately 10%)

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
