What You'll Do

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments

• Maintain accurate records in the general ledger

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Assist with audit preparation and compliance reporting

• Ensure adherence to GAAP and organizational policies

• Collaborate with the finance team to support budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis

What We're Looking For

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required; Bachelor's preferred

• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare setting

• Working knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting preferred

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Effective communicator who can work independently and in a team environment

• A commitment to accuracy, integrity, and supporting the mission of Ädelbrook
