The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our operations supporting commuter shuttle services. The Operations Manager will manage a multi-level team of drivers, supervisors, dispatchers and safety professionals ensuring seamless execution of operations client expectations. The Operations Manager will ensure that all vehicles are operated in a safe, reliable, courteous and timely manner with a high-level of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing operations for 10-20 routes and experience working with and presenting to clients.
This is for proposed business and all offers are contingent upon Hallcon's award of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
Monitors policies, standards, operating procedures, and day to day success.
Strong emphasis on overseeing daily operations and troubleshooting potential issues
Maintains strong relationships with all employees and operators
Develop, coach, and mentor high potential employees
Assist with the recruiting of new talent
Ensures the highest level of safety compliance at all levels of the operation, assisting in accident/incident investigation as needed
Control direct cost and manage established operations budgets
Make sure all routes/run are performed safely, reliably, and on-time
Experience and Skills Required
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive day to day transportation management
Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and industry laws
Excellent employee relationship skills.
Working knowledge with Microsoft Suite
Great communication skills
Experience with FMCSA regulations as prescribed by the US Department of Transportation
