Marketing & Design Coordinator
Job Summary
The Marketing & Design Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the marketing department
through a blend of creative design, project coordination, and administrative support. This position is responsible for executing marketing requests, designing visual assets, managing promotional product orders, coordinating media buys, and contributing to creative direction across campaigns and initiatives.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in creative arts or applicable discipline preferred. Associates degree with an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible professional design experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
• Photography experience a plus
Physical Demands
• Work is normally performed in a general office environment.
• This position requires light physical activity and movement; employee must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone or during virtual meetings. Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 25 pounds with the use of proper equipment. Description of Job Duty
• Provide comprehensive administrative and project coordination support to the marketing team, including preparing reports, documenting workflows, assigning tasks, managing incoming marketing and design requests through established systems (e.g., Marketing Request Forms, Asana, ticketing platforms), and ensuring timely prioritization, follow-up, and execution.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and events, contributing ideas and feedback during brainstorming and creative development.
• Support Director with media buying efforts, including research, vendor coordination, scheduling, and securing cost-effective advertising placements.
• Design and produce print and digital materials, such as flyers, signage, social media graphics, and email templates, ensuring brand consistency and technical accuracy.
• Produce accessible and inclusive designs that meet accessibility standards and reflect the College's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Prepare and format final artwork for both print and digital production, maintaining high standards of quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Execute creative design solutions while managing multiple projects, shifting priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications and ensure alignment between creative output and strategic marketing goals.
• Collaborate with vendors, printers, and facilities staff to ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely production of marketing materials and signage, including proper installation and alignment with brand standards.
• Source, order, and manage inventory of branded merchandise and promotional items, reviewing and approving vendor proofs to ensure alignment with brand standards and quality expectations.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing of marketing-related goods and services.
• Maintain marketing files, records, and databases, ensuring organized and accessible documentation.
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
• Track social media engagement and outreach, using insights to optimize content strategy and audience interaction.
• Stay current with design tools, trends, and best practices relevant to higher education marketing and communications.
• Provide support across various marketing functions as needed to back up the team, including administrative tasks, photography, social media, and copy editing.
• Provide basic training and guidance to staff on branding standards and the use of design templates, and ensure templates are regularly updated to reflect current brand guidelines.
