Job Description: DEPARTMENT : Alumni Office SUPERVISOR : Andrea Dever SSTA APPROVER: Andrea Dever TITLE : Alumni and Donor Relations Student Assistant SCHEDULE: Varies (may be asked to assist after hours and on weekends) Hourly Pay Rate: Minimum wage General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities: Division of University Advancement- Alumni and Donor Relations Student Assistants act as ambassadors to the Office of Alumni Relations and represent the entire student body experience for our alumni and donors.
Alumni and Donor Relations Student Assistants communicate gratitude for private donor support and provide details specific to the incredible impact donors provide students who could not normally attend college without the financial support of scholarships.
Alumni and Donor Relations Student Assistants will be responsible for alumni and donor engagement in a mostly virtual setting, including but not limited to video donor thank yous and solicitations.
Requirements: Qualifications: Individuals must be comfortable speaking on camera, have access to video (on a cell phone is more than acceptable), be computer savvy, be articulate, and have superior communication skills.
Because this will likely be a virtual-based position, the ability to adhere to deadlines, multitask, and work autonomously is required.
Additionally, confidentiality, reliability, and professionalism are a must.
Opportunities to assist with mailings and other in-person tasks through the Advancement Office may also be available throughout the year when applicable.
