Customer facing solution validation service engineer, providing support to customer on validating their solution, role will include below responsibilities: - Engage with customers and other Cisco stakeholders on successful planning and execution of validation engagements.
- Support Webscaler/Enterprise customers to accelerate implementation of new platforms/solutions.
- Validate new design solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Drive requirements discussions, analyze test requirements, build test lab configurations, author and execute test plans, and document results.
- Identify key issues and gaps and work with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects from Delivery and Sales teams to meet customer needs -Innovate to gain efficiency and accelerate validation efforts.
Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum Requirements and Desired Skills: - Typically requires BS plus 4-5+ years related experience, or a MS with 2-3 years of related experience.
Candidates must have deep technical expertise with: - 802.11 Wireless technologies - Core routing and switching - Cisco Catalyst product line Candidates - Must also have strong customer interaction and consulting skills.
- They must be able to articulate complex concepts in easy-to-understand language.
- Candidates must be proficient in customer facing discussions as well as the technologies listed above.
Minimum Qualifications - CCNA Wireless, CCNP preferred - Strong knowledge of Cisco Wireless portfolio (WLCs, APs, Catalyst) - Routing and Switching experience, R&S and/or DC CCNA Required, CCNP Preferred - Strong knowledge of Catalyst platform.
ISE knowledge (CWA, MAB, Dot1x) In addition to above, experience in one or more of the following: - BGP, OSPF Routing, LAN Switching, SDWAN, Virtualization Security/Cloud knowledge is preferable - Programming experience/familiarity (Python or Robot Framework preferred) - Test and validation experience (hardware or software) - Strong communication skills (written Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
