Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter with deep expertise in AI/ML recruiting to help build a category-defining team.
This person will also operate as the team lead, setting recruiting strategy and mentoring other team members.
In this role, you will own full-cycle recruiting and collaborate closely with the VP of AI and VP of Software to find and attract top talent.
This is a high-impact position where you will drive and refine the hiring process, enhance the candidate experience, and elevate our talent brand in the deep tech space.
Responsibilities * Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles in AI, machine learning, firmware, and software engineering * Partner directly with the VP of AI, VP of Software, and hiring managers to define talent needs, craft job descriptions, and calibrate profiles * Proactively source top-tier candidates through outbound outreach, networking, and events * Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding * Lead and optimize interview processes and scorecards for consistency and effectiveness * Champion 1X's employer brand in the AI and robotics communities through events and online presence * Collaborate cross-functionally with People Operations and HR to enhance recruiting tools and systems * Provide mentorship and leadership to other recruiters on the team * Drive recruiting strategy, prioritization, and process improvements across the Talent function
