Summary:
Ocean Environment Educator in ensuring sustainable management and preservation of the Resort's oceanic environment. Help create a positive impact on both the local ecosystem and the overall guest experience. Perform guided snorkelling with guests.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, marine biology, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in environmental organisation, preferably within the hospitality industry or coastal environments.

Swimming, diving and rescue skills
Strong knowledge of marine conservation practices and ESGs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and educate staff, guests, and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, interpret, and present environmental data.
Familiarity with relevant environmental monitoring tools and technologies.
Crisis management and emergency response experience is highly desirable.
Passion for environmental conservation and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

key functions:
Environmental Management: Assist Resort Ocean Environment Manager to develop and implement strategies to protect and enhance the Resort's oceanic environment, including coral reefs, marine life, and coastal ecosystems. Sustainability Initiatives: Help to identify and implement sustainable practices across all departments to minimize environmental impact, such as reducing waste and promoting energy and water conservation. Education and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate Resort staff and guests about the importance of marine conservation and responsible environmental practices. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze relevant data on the Resort's environmental performance, including water quality, waste management, and energy consumption, to identify areas for improvement and monitor progress. Crisis Management: Develop and implement emergency response plans to address potential environmental incidents, such as oil spills or natural disasters, minimizing their impact on the local ecosystem.
