Strategic ACI is seeking an Expert Systems Engineer to assist in leading engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.

Responsibilities:

Assists the Government in directing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies.

Serve as the technical Point of Contact (POC) for the NSGPDD and Radar Standards.

Investigate and analyze all data format, data quality, and specification-related Discrepancy Reports (DRs).

Provide technical recommendations and proposed resolutions to DRs.

Draft redlines and implement updates to the NSGPDD and related Radar Standards documentation.

Ensure all standards and products align with evolving mission and engineering requirements.

Lead effectivity management activities to ensure proper implementation of engineering changes.

Drive and facilitate the Request for Change (RFC) planning process across multidisciplinary teams.

Develop, document, and present engineering plans, including risk mitigation strategies and path-forward recommendations for addressing requirement shortfalls.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical decisions and milestones.

Provide subject matter expertise on technical specifications, interface standards, and data integrity.

Act as liaison between engineering teams, product owners, and standards boards to ensure consistent interpretation and execution of requirements.

Review and validate proposed updates to technical documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and accuracy of data definitions.

Oversees and coordinates the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Systems Engineers.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active TS/SCI Clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.

18+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.

Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering.

Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO.

Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work.

Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.

Strong background in systems or radar engineering, with hands-on experience in standards development and product specification management.

Proven experience investigating and resolving data-related DRs and drafting technical documentation/redlines.

Demonstrated ability to lead engineering planning efforts, manage effectivity, and drive RFC processes.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to brief senior stakeholders and provide clear technical recommendations.

Familiarity with NSGPDD, radar systems, and related technical standards preferred., About Strategic Alliance Consulting, Inc
