Scope of responsibilities:
Own the vision, goals, and strategy for dedicated brands, and create a winning culture for the brand’s success within Oncology & Hematology therapeutic areas
Generate deep market understanding: 360 market analysis (competitive development, value needs of patients and physicians)
Translate the global brand strategy into a focused local customer plan with impactful customer insight-based solutions and tactics to form desired brand equity and to generate success in the marketplace
Partner with cross-functional team members and agency partners to develop customer solutions and tactics with focus on replication of global best practices
Engage cross-functionally with Field Force (FF), Multi-Channel Engagement (MCE), Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Access, for input, buy-in and delivery of solutions, tactics and messaging. Align the cross-functional Oncology & Hematology team on the brands’ direction, choices, and tactics with great emphasis on clarity, confidence, and winning mindset
Partner with Medical in the execution of Key Opinion Leader activities and with FF for the execution of key customer activities
Lead and be accountable for the implementation and execution excellence of all brand solutions/tactics
Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities to anticipate opportunities and threats
Brainstorm and identify in x-functional collaboration new and innovative customer solutions/activities
Manage brand budget
Prioritize own work in coordination with supervisor
Requirements:
Innovative pharma industry experience (minimum 4 years of brand management)
Prior experience within Oncology & Hematology areas, including drug programs
Prior experience with launching innovative products to the market
Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix for innovative pharmaceutical brands, especially digital channels
Proven ability to execute global brand strategies based on local customer understanding and to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in translating customer insights into relevant brand solutions and tactics that shape physicians’ treatment behaviors
Drive for results and proven past track record
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, coupled with an ability to think out of the box
Strong time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly; excellent presentation skills
Excellent English language skills
Bachelor or MBA in marketing or a related field
