Legal Counsel - Technology, AI & Commercial Law (m/f/d)

Location: Remote-first (Frankfurt, Berlin and Düsseldorf are preferred)

A fast-growing European software company in the e-commerce and digital innovation space is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its collaborative legal team. The company develops cutting-edge solutions for online retailers and is actively integrating AI into its products and operations.Your Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, licensing, and procurement deals

Advise internal stakeholders on legal matters related to product development, marketing, and international operations

Support compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR) and other relevant legal frameworks

Contribute to the implementation and governance of AI frameworks, ensuring legal alignment with evolving regulatory standards

Collaborate with external counsel on specialized legal topics such as antitrust, accessibility, and international regulations

Monitor legal developments in technology, e-commerce, and AI to proactively manage risk and support innovation

Your Profile

Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (Volljurist)

1-4 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a tech or software company

Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and data protection

Exposure to AI-related legal frameworks or practical experience with AI implementation in an in-house setting

Experience with SaaS contracts and working in a technology-driven environment

Fluent in German (C1) and English
