Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated (Elec/Mech) Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance, we aim to source a 50/50 on electrical to mech skills and experience, although leaning a little more to the electrical side.
This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency of our equipment and facilities, contributing to overall production goals while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Duties:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, and hydraulic machinery.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and managing work orders.
Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, as required for repairs or modifications.
Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely to perform maintenance tasks at various heights.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Provide field service support as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including analysis of performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and their components is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals in English.
Excellent analysis skills to assess equipment performance and implement effective solutions.
Previous experience in technical sales or customer service roles is a plus.
Military experience related to engineering or maintenance is highly regarded.
