Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our logistics operations across the Huber AgroSolutions business in Europe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end supply chain process, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution. This role will also be tasked with implementing a state-of-the-art cloud-based TMS system (Oracle Transportation Management) that fully integrates with our core ERP system and third party partners. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, change management skills, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods in compliance with all regulatory and company standards

Huber AgroSolutions manufactures and sells high quality adjuvants, biostimulants, and specialty fertilizer products to agricultural retailers and distributors across over 90 countries internationally. Our European-based manufacturing sites are located near Bologna, Arzignano, and Molfetta Italy. We also have subsidiary locations through Europe, including Germany, Hungary, Spain, and Poland.

Manage a team of logistics specialists and oversee all outbound, inbound, and intercompany shipments for the three European-based manufacturing sites. Establish and leverage the capabilities of our distribution network in the region and advanced systems to provide excellent service to our customers internally and externally. Understand and determine lead times, shipment and warehousing requirements, including those for hazardous materials, and costs. Work with Customer Care, Sales, Supply Chain Planning, Operations, HEM central logistics, and business leadership to ensure customer delivery requirements are being met timely, effectively, and efficiently.

Participate in the design and drive the adoption of an advanced TMS (Oracle Transportation Management) system. This role will be part of a global logistics team focused on functional excellence.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Logistics

Manage and lead a team of logistics specialists to execute logistics operations; ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout Italy and the EUR and APAC regions

Monitor KPIs and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in cost, service levels, and lead times

Negotiate contracts, conduct performance reviews, and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transport companies

Ensure compliance with Italian and EUR/APAC customs, import/export regulations, and environmental laws

Implement and manage logistics software systems, primarily Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), to enhance operational visibility and efficiency

Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure seamless supply chain execution

Continuously review and improve logistics processes, emphasizing sustainability, scalability, and customer satisfaction

Warehousing

Plan and execute the transfer of inventory among the distribution network with input from the sales forecast, production planners, and commercial team

Optimize execution of the supply chain by balancing inventory, supply orders, and scheduled demand

Reconcile inventory in Oracle Fusion Cloud using cycle counts conducted by the 3PLs and conduct other investigations as needed

Own the relationship with the key points of contact at the 3PL partners and oversee the daily operations of the distribution network to ensure they are meeting established service levels and key metrics

Support efforts to disposition and dispose of aged and/or damaged inventory

Knowledge, Skills. Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within an international or Italian-based company

Strong knowledge of logistics software, ERP systems, and industry best practices. Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Oracle ERP is a plus

Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams

Strong understanding of European transport laws, customs regulations, and supply chain dynamics
