Ventura Low Voltage & Security is seeking a dedicated and reliable Low Voltage and Security Technician to join our team. We're looking for someone who is not only skilled but also adaptable, trainable, and eager to learn. You’ll be a key part of our operations, working on projects throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties.

Responsibilities:

Install and service security alarm systems, IP surveillance, access control systems, and network wiring.

Run conduit and electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.

Troubleshoot system installations to ensure everything works properly.

Complete all wiring and connections, making sure systems meet customer and contractual requirements.

Document all installation issues, actions, and resolutions thoroughly.

Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers.

Requirements:

Previous experience in security installation, low voltage systems, or a related field is a plus, but we are willing to train a reliable candidate.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Valid California driver's license.

Ability to pass a background check (FBI & DOJ) and drug screening.

Physical ability to climb, crawl, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in small spaces.

Ability to qualify for a State of California ACE card.

Must possess your own basic hand tools.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road, across Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties.
