Job Description

FABRICATION: Titan Air, located in Osseo, WI is a leading manufacturer of industrial heating equipment and personnel lifts. Titan Air is in need of an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to fill a night shift position in our Fabrication department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful candidate will:

Work with sheet metal and structural steel

Learn, read, understand, and fabricate steel structures from AutoCad drawings

Be able to read and apply tape measure readings

Be able to operate power tools as required

Be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work well with others

Be able to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment

Be thorough and pay attention to detail

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Assemble components of heating, cooling, and ventilating systems and other Titan Air products.

2. Verify work orders with blueprints, materials, and production schedule.

3. Communicate with and assist other workers in the work area.

4. Follow good housekeeping practices.

5. Assist in identifying and resolving quality issues.

6. Perform necessary quality checks as required.

7. Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as required.

8. Identify and immediately correct any safety hazards in the work area.

9. Ability to work with others and alone in a safe and acceptable manner

10. Perform any other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time and walk frequently; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, particularly related to the ability to observe fine defects. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
