Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Program Specialist to join our GCIO Manufacturing Support -CAT IT Division.
The incumbent would facilitate program and project workshops, development sessions, meetings, gate reviews and other project meetings independently. Understand and adhere to divisional and corporate governance processes
The preference for this role is to be based out of Thiruvallur-RIOP CIPL Plant
What you will do
Project Management
Manage all aspects of the Facility Digital Manufacturing deployments including the requirements gathering, project plan, site communications, and plan execution. This includes, but not limited to:
Candidate should have strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, have strong problem-solving skills, work well in a team environment, and possess strong customer relationship and customer support skills.
Individuals should demonstrate innovative qualities to explore new technologies, which improve the efficiency of the factory environment
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time as well as well as being a collaborative team member
Ability to convert BU requirements into IT requirements. (Demand Management) Be Voice of business to IT and voice of IT to Business.
Ability to coordinate with vendors and other cross functional teams for support and deployment
Oversee technical resources assisting in the deployment of projects.
Participate in project control meetings and reporting status on application deployments
Management of the schedule, and ensuring deployments stay on track
Work with Factory Integration Analysts to ensure all site deployment activities are completed on time and in alignment with budget.
Developing and tracking budgets.
Escalating staffing issues / constraints to ensure adherence to time frames
Participate and provide inputs for monthly governance meeting with Facility Leadership
Program Management
Lead and govern the Data Analytics & Reporting program across RI facilities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams and leadership to report progress, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage Business Analysts and Developers, providing guidance and support for Snowflake-based DM view creation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, assess, and prioritize data requirements from various RI facilities.
Assign tasks to analysts and developers based on project priorities and resource availability, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
What you will have
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following selection criteria:
Bachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of job-related experience
Expert in Project Management tools & processes
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project Management Tools
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Strong knowledge on Agile Process
Desired Qualifications:
The following criteria will be beneficial but not required:
Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following business processes:
Strong business acumen on Manufacturing
Experience on Digital / Smart Manufacturing
This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
