As a Planning Assistant, you will support the Planning Manager and project teams in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules. You will assist in reporting progress, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment between planning tools and project execution.
You'll Be Responsible For:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project if required.
Support data extraction and transformation for dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
Help prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and variance analyses.
Coordinate with site teams and contractors to gather updates and validate progress.
Maintain planning documentation and ensure version control.
Support the planning manager in scenario analysis and schedule optimization.
Assist in integrating planning data with cost and resource tracking tools.
Participate in planning meetings and workshops.
Working within multidisciplinary teams as directed by the manager to contribute towards creating plans, analysing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.
You’ll Need To Have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
Medium knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
Familiarity with Excel and Power BI is a plus.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Good attention to detail.
Good communication skills in Spanish and English.

You'll Also Have:
Junior role in construction or infrastructure projects.
Exposure to planning and control processes in large-scale projects.
Interest in developing expertise in project controls and data visualization.
Professional qualification (e.g. APM, AACE, PMI) is a plus.
Participation in relevant courses or training in project planning, scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6), or data analytics (e.g. Power BI, Excel, DAX) is highly valued.
