As a Contract Manager, you will lead the administration and strategic oversight of the project contracts. You will ensure that all contractual obligations are met, monitor compliance, manage risks, and support the project team in maintaining alignment with the contract terms. You will act as the key interface between the client, contractors, and internal teams to ensure contract compliance and successful delivery.
You'll Be Responsible For:
Managing the execution and administration of the project’s private contract, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
Monitoring contractor performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.
Tracking and managing contract variations, claims, and amendments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Maintaining up-to-date contract registers, trackers, and reporting tools.
Coordinating with procurement, cost, and planning teams to ensure contract alignment with project controls.
Supporting the evaluation of contractor valuations, payments, and amortizations.
Facilitating contract-related meetings and ensure accurate documentation of decisions and actions.
Ensuring timely resolution of contractual issues and disputes in coordination with legal and commercial teams.
Directing contract close-out activities, including reconciliation and final documentation.
Providing regular reporting to the project leadership on contract status, risks, and performance.
You’ll Need To Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
Skilled in managing contract lifecycles from execution to close-out.
Ability to interpret and apply contract terms to operational decisions.
Experience in performance monitoring, risk identification, and issue resolution.
Familiarity with cost control, procurement processes, and project delivery frameworks.
Strong documentation and reporting skills for compliance and audit readiness

You'll Also Have:
Experience managing private sector contracts in Peru, ideally in infrastructure or construction projects.
Strong background in contract administration, performance monitoring, and compliance.
Familiarity with Peruvian commercial and civil law as it applies to private contracting.
Experience handling contractor claims, variations, and payment processes.
Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across stakeholders.
Proficiency in contract management tools (e.g., SharePoint, ERP systems).
Professional qualifications in contract management, law, or commercial disciplines are a plus.
