Job Summary:
The Data Entry Operator II is responsible for inputting, updating, and verifying a variety of data into computer systems for storage, processing, and data management purposes. This role requires intermediate knowledge of data entry procedures, accuracy, and attention to detail. The position is remote, but candidates must reside in or near Columbus, OH for occasional in-person training or meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and update data into internal databases and systems.
Perform data verification and validation to ensure data integrity.
Review and correct errors in data entries.
Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Generate routine reports from data systems.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data issues or discrepancies.
Adhere to data entry best practices, productivity standards, and quality assurance protocols.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
2+ years of data entry or related clerical experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry systems.
Strong typing skills (50+ WPM with high accuracy).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable internet connection and a secure home workspace.
Reside in or near Columbus, OH for occasional on-site requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP).
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR depending on industry).
Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
Work Schedule:
Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (flexible depending on department needs).
Overtime may be required during peak periods.
