Job Summary/Basic Function

To monitor the university's art gallery, assist when needed in other areas of the art department and answer any related questions that visitors may have regarding the gallery. Assists with general upkeep of the gallery space. To represent the university in a professional and knowledgeable manner regarding the art gallery.

Minimum Qualifications

To be discussed with Gallery Director.

Preferred Qualifications

Gallery Assistants should have general knowledge about art and are expected to familiarize themselves with the information provided by the Director of the current exhibition. If an inquiry is made it's important to be able to discuss the art exhibition.
