Position Summary
Join our dedicated team as a truck driver, responsible for professionally transporting milk from producers to processing plants while adhering to established handling procedures and safe driving practices that meet our quality expectations.
Essential Functions
Safely operate a tanker truck under various weather conditions while following DOT regulations.
Utilize milk equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct proper sampling and antibiotic testing of milk to ensure quality standards are met before loading.
Communicate effectively with procurement teams and milk suppliers to maintain product quality and equipment functionality.
Complete and maintain necessary paperwork to support accurate record-keeping.
Perform regular cleaning and sanitation of trucks and tanks in compliance with SOPs.
Handle and use chemicals safely, ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Assist in training new procurement employees as needed.
Understand and comply with food safety, GMPs, and OSHA policies.
Uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality in all operations.

Work Environment
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, from extreme heat to cold, with all shifts starting and ending in Milbank, SD, or Watertown, SD.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time role with an alternating schedule of day or night shifts, including weekends.
Required Education, Experience & Certifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. You must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL and obtain a Tank Vehicle Endorsement, along with a valid health certificate.
