Varsity Lacrosse Coach

Triton is seeking a passionate and experienced Boys Lacrosse Coach to lead and develop our high school lacrosse program.

The coach will be responsible for organizing and overseeing all aspects of the boys’ lacrosse team, including training, practices, and games, and fostering a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and conduct effective practices and training sessions.

Teach and develop fundamental and advanced lacrosse skills.

Lead the team in competitive interscholastic games and tournaments.

Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and respect among student-athletes.

Emphasize academic performance and character development alongside athletic success.

Ensure adherence to school, league, and state athletic association rules and policies.

Manage team equipment and uniforms.

Coordinate team travel, scheduling, and communications with players, parents, and administration.

Supervise assistant coaches and work collaboratively with athletic staff.

Foster positive relationships with students, families, faculty, and the broader school community.

Qualifications: Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.

Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, strategies, and techniques.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor for student-athletes.

Must pass background check and meet school employment requirements.
