QA Supervisor

nSupervise, schedule and lead QA Technicians and team members, ensuring safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance.\nCommunicate with USDA team members.

\nMonitor plant floor for quality and food safety issues.\nProvide training for the weekly QA meetings.\nMonitor samples submission form before packing.\nPerform QA hold releases and transactions and WH transfers.

\nHelp with any implementation of programs and procedures.\nCreate, maintain and verify maintain paperwork of all production and quality paperwork.\nOrder supplies as needed.\nOversee hold releases.\nCommunicate when product is out of specification with the management team and techs.\nAssist in preparation and execution of customer, corporate, and third party audits\nEnsure compliance with regulatory programs \nPerform document reviews, ensuring completion and accuracy\nAll other relevant duties as required \n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required, preferably Bachelor degree in Food, Animal, Poultry Science or other closely related field \nPrevious QA and food manufacturing experience\nPrevious supervisory experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in poultry or meat processing\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nBilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nProficient computer and analytical skills\nDetail oriented\n
