Position Summary

The HR Manager supports and manages all aspects of Human Resources within a manufacturing/operations environment. This role ensures compliance with employment laws and safety regulations, oversees staffing and workforce planning, and promotes employee engagement across all shifts. The HR Manager partners with leadership to build a safe, productive, and positive workplace culture.

What you will do in this role:

Manage HR team and their initiatives.

Partner with departments to align HR initiatives with production goals.

Support the full cycle of recruitment and onboarding for hourly, skilled trade, and salaried employees.

Manage compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.

Support and coach supervisors/managers on employee relations, corrective actions, and performance management.

Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts fairly.

Assess future workforce needs and provide input to senior leadership.

Oversee payroll, benefits, and leave programs accurately and in compliance with policy.

Develop and implement training programs, including safety, compliance, and leadership development.

Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement, recommending improvements.

Manage investigations, documentation, and reporting of workplace incidents.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within the facility.

Ensure consistency and effectiveness of HR practices across organization.

Maintain awareness of industry trends and HR best practices with an expectation to initiate improvements to policies, practices, and initiatives.

How you will thrive in this role:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required.

HR Certification (SHRM, PHR, etc) required.

4+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, operations, or eCommerce environment.

Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and safety compliance.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work with and build trust with employees and leadership.

Proficiency with HRIS, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational skills and multitasking.

Experience managing HR staff.

Physical Requirements:

Position performance will require the regular physical ability to walk and function in elevation changes by means of self-propulsion, including steps, ladders, and varied walking and working surfaces. Ability to negotiate warehouse work areas in a safe manner and with good behavior. Vision abilities specific to the position will include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Performing in this role will require the use of hands to use and handle tools, objects, materials, and controls. Performance requires the frequent ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees will need to be able to read, write, and understand the basics of the English language. Employees may have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and up to 45 pounds assisted or if capable.
