Job Description

Minutemen Staffing is Currently Looking for Foam Assemblers in the in the Westerville area, Monday-Friday 6am-230pm. If you are looking for a Permanent Job, Weekly Pay and benefits, submit your application Now ! Pay rate is $18

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Reading work orders or blueprints to cut, shape, and adhere foam parts using various tools and equipment like saws, die presses, and glue applicators to create finished products such as packaging or cushions

Material Preparation:Select and cut foam to specified dimensions using tools like saws, die presses, or Water Jets, following part drawings and work orders.

Assembly:Use adhesives, heat, or mechanical methods to assemble foam parts according to instructions and specifications.

Quality Control:Perform self-inspections, detect defects in materials or equipment, and verify that parts meet dimensional and quality standards.

Packaging and Labeling:Package finished foam products in appropriate containers and apply necessary labels

Safety and Housekeeping:Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow safety protocols, use required PPE, and properly dispose of scrap materials

Manual Dexterity:Ability to use hand tools and operate various machinery safely and accurately

Problem-Solving:Ability to detect issues with equipment or materials and report them to a supervisor.

Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

Perform quality checks on products and parts.
