Job Title: Procurement Sourcing Manager
Location: South Ozone Park, New York
Salary: $90,000 - $98,000
Job Description: LHH is working with our client who is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Manager to join their team. This role involves managing a team of three direct reports, including a senior procurement lead, a temporary staff member, and a senior procurement agent. The focus will be strictly on sourcing, not on managing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Run full cycle solicitations, including issuing RFI, RFP, RFQ, and project pre-selling.
Manage relationships with internal and external business partners to ensure timely and consistent responses.
Provide support and information related to awards, BAFOs, and records of negotiations.
Identify and mitigate procedural gaps to maintain compliance with sourcing policies.
Lead the sourcing of prequalified vendor lists and manage annual service contract renewals.
Monitor industry trends and support sourcing projects.
Provide sourcing training opportunities for employees.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience with public procurement methodology and ERP systems (SAP or PeopleSoft preferred).
Strong project management, time management, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Work Schedule:
Required to be in the office 3 days a week, including Tuesday and either Thursday or Friday.
