As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused environment, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with visitors, employees, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times.

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the transportation location

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior

Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches

Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols

Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific guidelines

Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations

What We're Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred

A valid Guard Card or license is preferred

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
