As a Security Professional - Utilities Desk Patrol in San Ramon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading utility location, you will play a pivotal role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting visitors, managing access control, and responding to security-related inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. By remaining visible at the front desk, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service to all guests and employees. You will be the first point of contact, representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and innovation while fostering a people-first atmosphere. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner, assisting with access and/or providing directions as appropriate

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity according to site-specific policies

Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with appropriate personnel and following established protocols

Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or concerns from visitors, employees, and contractors in a courteous manner

Follow all site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related operations and access control at the front desk

What We're Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
