Requirement: Must live near Talladega, AL or be willing to relocate

Pay: $32.01

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in Talladega, AL. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a highly automated manufacturing environment. The Electrician will work with mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure maximum uptime and safety across production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Repairs

Install new equipment, components, and systems.

Assist with equipment start-up and shut-down procedures.

Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled or directed.

Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.

Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.

Work with operators and maintenance staff to resolve safety and operational issues.

Report all safety hazards to management immediately.

Maintenance

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues quickly and effectively.

Support production and maintenance staff in reducing unscheduled downtime.

Test for, locate, and repair malfunctions in electrical and control systems.

Other Duties

Participate in projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications

Experience: 1–3 years in an industrial, highly automated environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics field OR Associate’s degree with equivalent experience.

IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Technical Knowledge: Experience with Rockwell RSView, ControlLogix, PLC5000, Wonderware, AB Panelview, HMI software, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet, and AutoCAD (preferred).

Other Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
