Who We’re Seeking:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, easy-going person to join our team as a Business Development Representative. The Business Development Representative is responsible for fostering Oeler Industries’ ongoing market relationships with architects, designers, and other stakeholders. This person will represent Oeler Industries in one-on-one and small group settings to grow the company’s influence and market reach. This person will also play a critical role in lead development and project identification.
Essential Functions:
Plan, coordinate and execute in-person, digital, and phone meetings with architects, designers, and engineers.
Follow up with architects, designers, and engineers on a routine basis to enforce Oeler Industries’ reputation and scope of capabilities.
Maintain and manage Oeler Industries’ CRM system.
Support the Oeler Industries sales team by assisting with CRM use and applications.
Drive new leads and projects toward sales team.
Establish relationships between industry decision-makers and Oeler Industries.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related course of study from an accredited college or university preferred. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with CRM tools such as Hubspot.
Familiarity with presentation techniques and software (MS PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.).
Ability to work with little supervision.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be relationship-oriented and demonstrate consistent follow-through.
Strong time management, organizational, and project-management skills.
Must be enthusiastic and able to work in a small group setting.
Access to reliable transportation; must be willing to travel during the work day within 50 miles of downtown Pittsburgh, PA.
