About the Role:
Join Ellie Mental Health as a Child and Adolescent Therapist in Rochester, NY, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals in our community. Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions for children, adolescents and parents.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address mental health challenges.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their feelings.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
Participate in community outreach and engagement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mental health care.Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work
Valid state licensure (LCSW)
Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
Strong understanding of developmental psychology and mental health disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
