The Chief Information Officer (CIO) leads the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) organization and serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary of Transportation and DOT Operating Administrations on matters involving information technology (IT), information assurance - cybersecurity, privacy, and records management; portfolio management; IT infrastructure and operations; IT innovation and emerging technologies; enterprise data management; applications and digital solutions.
