What You’ll Do

As our Project Controller/Bookkeeper, you’ll be the financial backbone of our project teams. You’ll work closely with project managers, vendors, and leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting across multiple construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking

Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements

️ Prepare and review job cost reports, change orders, and billing

Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits

Communicate with vendors and subcontractors regarding invoices and payments

Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in bookkeeping or project accounting, preferably in construction

Strong understanding of job costing and financial reporting

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and construction accounting software

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Points

Experience with Procore, Sage 300, or similar construction management tools

Familiarity with lien waivers, AIA billing, and certified payroll
