Tax Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, & other financial reports

Prepare and review individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returns

Prepare and file payroll tax returns and sales tax returns

Assistance with tax planning and strategies

Assistance with estimating and providing quarterly estimated tax payments

Identifying tax solutions to complicated tax issues and tax notices

Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends

Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax regulations in a simple clear way to clients

Qualifications:

Prefer 5 to 8 years experience in tax and accounting

Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and tax software

Detail and deadline-oriented

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
