LHH is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to hire an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist with a strong foundation in compliance, safety programs, and ERP systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence. This role is located near the Joplin, Missouri area and is onsite.Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain site-wide EHS programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
Assist in developing and delivering EHS training programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety improvements and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate EHS documentation and reporting using ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
Monitor and analyze EHS metrics to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP is a strong plus.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
