LHH is looking for an Accountant to join a dynamic team in Columbus, OH, where innovation meets industry. This is a contract opportunity that is set to run through at least the end of the year!

What You’ll Do:

As an Accountant contractor, you’ll support the financial health of a thriving manufacturing operation. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support cost analysis, and help drive strategic decisions that keep the business moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Assist with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Collaborate with operations to track and report on manufacturing costs

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Provide insights to improve financial efficiency and accuracy

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of accounting experience (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

Manufacturing industry experience (preferred)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (bonus points for SAP or Oracle)

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
