Financial Data Analyst - Entry Level

We are looking for an entry-level Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey. This Contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial reporting and analysis within a dynamic organization. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with data, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with financial markets.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements to identify trends and themes for corporate reporting.

• Develop client-facing templates that integrate company-specific fundamentals, actuals, and estimates for clear presentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in broker models and submitted estimates.

• Create and maintain accurate financial reports using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.

• Perform detailed data analysis to support decision-making and business strategies.

• Maintain alignment of financial data across systems and tools to ensure accuracy.

• Communicate findings effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist in monitoring financial markets to provide insights and recommendations.

• Support the team with ad hoc financial projects and data requests.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial analysis or related role.

• Familiarity with analyzing financial statements and corporate reporting.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.

• Knowledge of financial markets and data-driven decision-making.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills for presenting data and findings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field A MUST.
