Process Tech

Job Description

We are seeking a Process Technician to join our team!

A growing thin film coating material manufacturer is seeking a process technician to join our dedicated team. The company provides an environment to bring out each individual’s potential and encourages personal growth. The process tech will contribute to the growth of the company’s sputtering target business and make an impact in a variety of areas including production, quality, equipment maintenance. The process tech will also support R&D projects.

The ideal candidates must be hands-on, detailed oriented, and, a team player and be able to perform in a fast paced environment

Job Responsibilities

Performs various duties of manufacturing such as bonding and casting

Quality inspection using metrology tools

Initial trouble shooting of process and equipment

Performs basic facility and equipment maintenance

Works as team participant along with other production team members under the guidance of engineer and supervisor

Performs shipping and receiving when needed

Qualifications/Requirements

Education: High school or 2 year associate degree in a technical area, preferably in mechanical engineering.

Work Experience: 2 years minimum

Minimum Field-of-Expertise: Hands-on work in a shop or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Field-of-Expertise in one of these areas: metal manufacturing, machining, auto repair, facility maintenance, or equipment maintenance.
