Manufacturing Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing overall supervision to the hourly workforce within a department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, organizing and utilizing resources (human, materials, and equipment) effectively and within safety and quality standards. This position works in collaboration with a variety of other departments including quality, supply chain, other production departments, production leadership and human resources.

Essential Functions:

Plan and organize resources to ensure organizational and customer goals are met.

Provide direction and supervision to the hourly workforce to ensure goals are met with regard to safety, quality, and production; including but not limited to coaching and feedback, conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as appropriate.

Complete a variety of reports and other reports with regard to safety, production, ISO, employee performance, and etc.

Maintain appropriate communication and documentation of changes and updates to production process and document SOPs, in collaboration with the Quality Department.

Conduct timely communication meetings, safety training, and other meetings as required to ensure high levels of communication are maintained.

Job Qualifications:

H.S. diploma or equivalent

Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Demonstrated strong leadership skills with exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, multi-task and prioritize workload

Ability to take initiative, with a demonstrated passion and commitment for getting the job done right the first time

Computer skills are required, Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of ERP systems

Effective problem-solving skills with an eye towards proactive solutions

Bi-lingual Spanish a plus
