Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the deli and bakery departments, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow

- Manage relationships with multiple vendors, negotiating pricing and ensuring timely delivery of products

- Develop and maintain product assortment, including new product selection and inventory management

- Monitor and analyze department performance, implementing strategies to improve sales and profitability

- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and uphold department standards

- Manage pricing strategies to remain competitive while maintaining margins

- Coordinate with other departments to support overall store operations and promotions

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience managing deli and bakery departments in a retail or grocery setting

- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills

- Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities

- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
