Assistant Professor Clinical

Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - faculty positions within the university that are not tenure track and not eligible for tenure; on a fixed-term contract. Persons with the titles of professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical, assistant professor-clinical, and instructor-clinical are included. Duties and responsibilities are assigned according to the workload guidelines established by each faculty department and, where appropriate, regional campuses. Clinical faculty are teacher/practitioners primarily engaged in teaching activities. These faculty members typically hold a doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field or possess equivalent experience.

The successful applicant will be expected to participate in diagnostic services including bone marrow/lymph node, fluid/coagulation, and flow cytometry. They will also take part in resident and medical student education, conduct productive basic, clinical, and/or translational research, and collaborate with a world-class Hematology/Oncology division. The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center feature an expanding NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center, including an active bone marrow transplantation program, along with numerous outreach and affiliated hospitals, resulting in a high volume of cases with a wide variety of specimens. #J-18808-Ljbffr
