Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law to develop persuasive legal arguments.
Stay abreast of changes in laws and precedents to ensure the accuracy and relevance of legal arguments.
Draft, file, and argue motions, including legal briefs and memoranda, in state and federal courts.
Prepare and respond to pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.
Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advice.
Qualifications
Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
Ability to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
Successful completion of the bar exam
Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
