DSA Project Specialist

Job Description

Familiar w/ the Division of State Architect procedures, DSA BOX, Processing of projects, forms & documentation.

Architectural or Engineering experience REQUIRED, minimum of 2 yrs office experience in the State of California

Clerical responsibilities directly related to all projects. Project filings & closeouts of projects thru DSA process

Process project RFI's, submittals, Change order requests & Change orders.

Desired Experience:

1. Familiar with the Division of the State Architects procedures, DSA BOX, processing of projects, forms and documentation.

2. Architectural or Engineering office experience required, minimum 2 years’ office experience in the state of California.

Typical duties include but not limited to:

1. Clerical responsibilities directly related to all projects.

2. Process project RFI’s, Submittals, Change Order Requests, and Change Orders.

3. Project filing and closeout of projects through DSA process.

4. Provides support as needed throughout the office.

5. Types materials from written drafts, outlines, and meeting minutes.

Knowledge / Skills & Abilities and Programs:

1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

2. Able to handle multi-tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail.

3. Self-starting, highly motivated.

4. Strong computer skills; Word and Excel a must, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft applications.

5. Receptionist work required as needed.

6. Some delivery and/or errands may be required .support as needed throughout the officeCompany Description
