RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5/8s schedule)

• 13-week assignment duration

• On-call requirements as needed, split evenly among staff

• Fast-paced operating room environment

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning

• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel

• Ensure supplies availability and timeliness of surgical cases

• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards

• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures

• Supervise personnel delivering patient care

• Support various surgical specialties including endoscopy, urology, total joints, ortho trauma, general surgery robotics with DaVinci Xi, ENT, vascular, podiatry, and laparoscopic general surgery

• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards

• Adhere to hospital and surgical department policies and procedures
