East West Bank is seeking a Physical Security Executive Protection Advisor, to join a highly dynamic team of individuals in the Corporate Security department. The primary responsibility of the Physical Security Advisor is to administer the physical security systems of the structures on East West Banks network. The successful candidate will be responsible for making sure the equipment used to secure these facilities is always in good working order.
Responsibilities
Grants/removes associates badge access in all facilities, tracking access card key distribution across the Bank
Administers security systems for all EWB Bank facilities
Responsible for maintaining associates alarm access to all EWB Bank facilities
Makes recommendations for replacement of physical security equipment
Partners with project teams on design of security systems in new and remodeled facilities
Available to work remotely after hours from home, as needed
Participates in monthly on-call CSD security during evening and weekend hours
Acts as back up to primary driver in providing a prominent level of executive protection (EP) for the Companys CEO, including the safe operation of a vehicle and personal protection of the principle
Provides occasional support to the needs of the CEOs office for high priority tasks including delivery, security and other necessary assignments as requested
Conduct EP advances to enhance the protection for the CEO as needed
Ability to work closely with law enforcement (LE) to assist in the advances and to receive updated security threats
Utilize public source documents/sites to collect intelligence information as well as obtain current intelligence from LE
Perform the role of Threat Assessment Officer to address potential workplace violence situations that an employee/client could be targeting the CEO or Company
Conduct regular risk assessments on the CEOs residence, office and vehicles and make recommendations to address vulnerabilities
Qualifications
Experience in supervising a team dealing with high level customer service
Experience in reviewing investigations and complaints
Understands complex documents such as basic contracts and licenses
Ability to effectively communicate with outside vendors and contractors via written and spoken word
Experience in programming surveillance systems
Knowledge of electronic security equipment (burglar alarms, analog cameras, IP cameras, digital video recorders, card access systems, etc.
Experience in physical security related fields
Experience troubleshooting physical security issues, including during on-call/non-business hours; 24-7
Experience in programming access control and security system
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
Ability to carry out daily duties with a high level of professionalism
Superior interpersonal skills
Compensation
