Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with Red Roof’s growth objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution services.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate commercial goals with broader business strategy.
• Oversee strategic pricing, distribution, and channel management to maximize revenue.
• Lead brand marketing, digital campaigns, and social media strategy.
• Integrate data-driven insights into sales and marketing efforts to improve ROI.
• Partner with the Head of Technology to align IT initiatives with commercial objectives.
• Champion the adoption of digital tools for CRM, revenue management, marketing automation, and franchisee support.
• Oversee the implementation of data analytics platforms to enhance decision-making and performance tracking.
• Drive innovation in guest-facing technologies, including mobile apps, booking engines, and loyalty platforms.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor commercial performance across the portfolio.
• Use predictive analytics and AI tools to forecast trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Present regular performance reports to the board and stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or Information Technology (MBA or MS in Information Systems preferred).
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in hospitality, franchising, or commercial strategy.
• Proven experience integrating IT systems into commercial operations.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, brand management, and digital distribution.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, and data analytics platforms.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
