JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Louisiana license required

Board: BC EM/IM/FM or BE EM with ACLS, ATLS, PALS

Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (required if not BCEM)

Experience: Residency-trained in EM/IM/FP with EM experience

Other Qualifications: Must complete VPMA interview, EMR (EPIC) training & orientation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide 12-hour ED coverage in a Level II trauma center

Perform standard emergency medicine procedures

Collaborate with NPPA staff and specialty backup

Participate in EMR documentation using Ochsner EPIC

Maintain credentialing and licensing requirements

Permanent
