Job Description

Salary: $85,000.00 - $100,00.00 per year

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking a full-time BIM Modeler to join our Virtual Construction team. This individual will report directly to our BIM Manager. The ideal candidate will have either a structural or architectural background with BIM experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyze construction drawings and build 3D model of concrete scope of project

Identify design and constructability issues, and communicate with project team through the RFI process

Collaborate with GC and other trades in the BIM coordination process

Prepare shop drawings for submittal and coordination with field crews

Prepare digital files for TotalStation layout in field

Extract model quantities and prepare pour sequence drawings

Qualifications

1 - 2 years Revit experience, Revit Professional Certification a plus

Bachelors degree in architecture, engineering, construction or equivalent

Strong computer skills in Revit and Microsoft Office, plus the ability to learn Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, and Navisworks

Ability to read and understand construction drawings

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong work ethic,team player, and attention to detail
