Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with active TX licensure, CCC certification, and experience in long-term care or rehab settings.
Responsibilities
Position is based in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) setting
Provides care for patients requiring rehabilitation and long-term speech therapy services
Small facility with 75 beds
Day shift schedule
Role involves providing evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
No more than 5 to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be required
All documentation and active certifications must be provided for consideration
Requirements
Current TX SLP license required; compact license accepted where applicable
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
At least 1 year of SLP experience required
LTC or rehab setting experience required
Three years of SLP experience with active CCS preferred
One reference required for consideration
All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration
