As a Motor Transport Operator, you will be crucial in transporting personnel and cargo, providing essential mobility for operations both on and off the battlefield.
Job Responsibilities
Operate all-wheel vehicles across diverse terrains and roadways
Ensure safety during the loading and unloading of personnel
Oversee proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers
Implement convoy defense strategies
Identify and address vehicle issues
Prepare vehicles for transport via air, rail, or sea
Training Program
The training for a Motor Transport Operator includes 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training followed by 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience, spending over 200 hours in actual vehicles and field training environments.
